Reminders

Have you ever heard the song that goes "We are going down the Valley, Going down the Valley, Going down the valley one by one"?

Well that pretty well describes what has been going on in the Taliaferro house the past few weeks. God has reminded me very strongly that I am needed in the place I am at. The Flu bug has hit my wife extremely hard and now the 2 kids are starting to bark and hack around with something.

I had been looking for something in my email bank to help me describe my feelings about the last few weeks. With Thanksgiving just around the corner people are always asking, " What are you Thankfull for? Let me tell you after this flu bug that still hasn't learned it isn't welcome around here yet, I wasn't feeling in the most Thankful of moods and finding it hard to find anything quite frankly to be thankful for and then this came thru the mailbox.

Since my mind has been more occupied with other things let me end with this. Thank you God for putting me where I belong. The following is something I think you will enjoy, it blessed me and I feel it will you too. Till next time.

Tim Taliaferro

IF TODAY
If you planted hope today
In any hopeless heart
If someone's burden was lighter
Because you did your part,
If you caused a laugh
That chased some tears away
If tonight your name is named
When someone kneels to pray
Then your day has been well spent.
