Granulated Wax Candles - March 5, 2009 - Quick and Easy Daily Crafts for Kids
Granulated Wax Candles
Easy, easy, easy! No need to melt wax... it's just like sand art. Safe for all ages.
You Need:
Votive Cups
Granulated Wax (you an get this at any craft store)
Wick
Pencil or Stick (optional)
Instructions: Pour a layer of granulated wax into the bottom of a votive jar. Continue by slowly pouring additional layers of different colored wax over the first layer. Gently tap cup to settle the layers. Push a pencil or stick down into the wax near the glass all around the jar to make a pattern.
Trim wick to 1/4" taller than the jar. Push it down into the center of the wax.
