Flag Day is June 14th.
Tear Paper Art A project that I did with my kindergarten class is tear paper art. You could use this and have them make a flag with it. Instead of cutting paper to glue on to another sheet, they have to tear it with their hands. Just make sure that you go over what size they should be trying to tear for the stars, stripes, etc. My kiddos did a good job with this because I also had a display for them to refer to. I really think that this idea works for any grade level, any picture idea.
