If you haven't figured it out yet, I am cheap!  LOL.  I HATE spending money.  I buy LOTS of things at garage sales.  Especially books.  I hate paying a boat load for a book I am only going to read once, so I buy tons of them at garage sales, then sell them again at my own sale!  But, have you noticed that when you buys books sometimes, they stink?  Musty, blechy, like they've been in someone's basement for years?  Easily remedied.  Take a fabric softener sheet, rip it in half.  Put half in the front cover, half in the back cover.  Let sit a couple days.  If it's really bad, put the sheets in and then leave it in a plastic bag for a couple days.  Gets the stinkies right out :)
