If your carpet seems to produce static cling, take an empty spray bottle and place a drier sheet in it then fill with water, place lid back on, shake well and spray on to your carpet. Also good for panty hose and double knit clothes. This will also give your house a nice sent. This is a lot cheaper than the products that are sold in the stores for static cling!
