Today's Tip:

Last year, as I was trying to shove a bag of hashbrowns and a box of
popsicles into the little square left by the 4 inch thick blocks of frost
in my freezer, I realized that defrosting that baby was WAY overdue.  So,
for 2 1/2 hours, I sat.  Putting in pots of boiling water, chipping a
little away here and there and watching my kids eat all the popsicles
since they were gonna melt anyway.  Well, my mother in law happened to
call while I was doing it and she was laughing at me!  She told me to
take a can of Pam (non stick cooking spray) and spray the inside of it
lightly before I put everything back in.  I thought she was nuts, but she
has a knack for always being right (don't tell her I said that...LOL)

Anyway, last week, it was getting thick again, so I dragged it all out
(mmmm, I always seem to buy popsicles right before I do that....imagine
that....and god forbid the Haagen Daas coffee ice cream gets to
melt....had to eat that too...hahahah)  Anyway, lo and behold....I got
everything out, and whacked a wall of ice and FWWWWOOOOOOOOP  Off came
the whole chunk.  I didn't even have to put hot water in, scrape,
NOTHING.  It just fell out.  I think the only thing holding it up was
those darn popsicles....

Enjoy!!
