Today's Tip:
an old-time tip that my mother uses for cake pans that are not made of that great non-stick coating ... Grease the bottom of the pan with butter/Crisco, then press a sheet of wax paper into the bottom of the pan and use a sharp knife to trim the sheet to fit exactly in the bottom of the cake pan. Your cake comes out very easily and all you have to do is peel the wax paper off the bottom of the cake. Todays tip submitted by Kathryn Each weekday we will publish a family friendly tip.
