Cutting Brownies I've found that the easiest way to cut brownies so that they don't crumble too much, fall apart or get generally messy is to use a plastic knife. I just wait until the brownies have cooled completely and use a plastic knife to cut them. It works every time! I always get brownies with nice, neat edges.
