Can dogs and cats get heat stroke?
Yes. On hot days, never leave a pet in the car with the windows rolled up, and not for very long even with the windows rolled down. Don't lock a pet in the garage on hot days. Dogs and cats are as vulnerable to the heat as children. They need plenty of water and a cool place to rest.
Play less, run less and cool off more often when active outside.
