25 Days to Declutter

Day 17: Dated Technology, Including Old Cell Phones

Last year we donated all of our old cell phones to a charity called Cell Phones For Soldiers. It gives our troops the ability to call home, and whether you agree with war or not, the soldiers always need support. Another option is to donate them through your local police department or domestic violence shelter. Something old and seemingly useless can be given a new lease of life.

Old cameras, handheld video games, VHS players — they can all be used by someone. Better that than being stuck in your basement for the next 10 years.
