Cozy Coasters Crochet Pattern

• 50 gram ball of crochet cotton, size 10
• Size 7 steel crochet hook

Beginning at center, ch 5; join with sl st to form ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in ring; * ch 6 , sc in ring; rep from * 6 times more; end ch 7, join with sl st to first sc.

Rnd 2: Sl st in next 3 ch, sc in same lp; * ch 4, sc in next lp; rep from * 6 times more; end with ch 4, join with sl st in sc at beg of rnd.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, * in next ch-3 lp work 3 sc, ch 2, sl st in second ch from hook -- picot made, and 3 sc, ch 1; rep from * around; join last ch-1 with sl st in first ch-1 sp.

Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in same ch-1 sp; * ch 6, 2 dc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * 6 times more; end ch 5, join with sl st in top of ch-3 at beg of rnd.

Rnd 5: Sl st in next dc and into next ch-lp; ch 3, in same lp work 9 dc; * ch 1, in next ch-lp work 10 dc; rep from * 6 times more; end ch 1, join with sl st to top of ch-3 at beg of rnd.

Rnd 6: Sl st in next 5 dc, ch 6, dc in same st as last sl st; * ch 4, in next ch-1 sp work dc, ch 3, and dc; ch 4, sk 4 dc, in next dc work dc, ch 3, and dc; rep from * 6 times more; end ch 4, in next ch-1 sp work dc, ch 3, and dc; ch 4, join with sl st to third ch of ch-6 at beg of rnd.
