Grant Writing
By Vanessa Rasmussen, © 2004, All rights reserved. Website: http://www.startingadaycarecenter.com Daycare providers can obtain funding from appropriate state and local agencies to develop or expand their centers. These funds, commonly known as grants from government institutions are available easily, provided the center formally submits a convincing grant proposal. Most agencies that offer funds have their own grant writing guidelines. The proposal should entail a detailed description of the facilities that would be provided in the center. It should clearly define how funds obtained from the said agency would be used and how would children at the center profit from these. A lot of considerations have to be taken care of while writing a grant. To assist you in this process, given below are some comprehensive grant writing resources. Copyright 2001, 2004.
